Tips for fabulous seasonal make-up from Tiffany – a hair and make-up expert at Gina Conway Prive
Good party make-up is essential if you want to look fabulous and beautiful for all your Christmas soirees. I recommend prepping the skin with a professional primer before applying foundation, concealer and powder. This smooths out the skin and helps the make-up last longer. Apply blush to contour the cheek bone and add colour. Highlight the eyelid with gold eye shadow and create definition by lining your eyelids with waterproof gel eyeliner and lashings of mascara.
Nothing says Christmas like glitter and sparkly lips will get you in the Christmas mood! To master the look, line your lips with a lip pencil then apply a rich red-toned lipstick using a lip brush. To ‘glam up’ your lips even more add some clear lip gloss mixed with a fine glitter. However, bear in mind you may spread your ‘Christmas Cheer’ while eating, drinking and kissing under the Mistletoe!! It is a good idea to carry your ‘touch-up essentials’ in a small handbag. Aveda's lip duo - golden lily and holly berry is great to carry around .
Simple hair ‘up-do’s’ with Christmas being such a frantic time it may be difficult to find the time and energy to fuss over fancy hair styles. One of the best hair tips I can give you is to master is the art of creating a simple ‘up-do’. If you wish to style your hair up and create an easy up do follow these simple steps. This look is elegant, simple and more importantly quick.
- Twist one section from the front of your hair; once twisted pin into place at the back of your head.
- Repeat with the other side.
- Take the remainder of your hair and tie a messy bun.
- To finish off, add a diamante clip for a touch of extra glamour.
